AIARE Level 1 is all about decision making in the backcountry. Over the course of the week, we’ll model good decision making and set you up for leading the group by the end of the week.

Route setting in the snow is an art and we’ll teach you how to travel safely and efficiently. We’ll also teach skills like kick turns and white out navigation.
