There is no trip like skiing or snowboarding in Antarctica - truly a once in a lifetime experience!
From crossing the Drake Passage to skiing with penguins, this trip is full of OMG moments. It starts with a warm-up day in Argentina, outside the town of Ushuaia, before a 2-day sailing across the infamous Drake Passage. Once down to the Antarctica Peninsula, we get 6-7 days of skiing among icebergs, penguins, leopard seals, orcas, humpback whales, and giant glaciers! Every day is at a different location accessed by zodiac boats, and we often ski in two different locations on the same day! Excellent meals, apres on the ship (of course!), educational slideshows and presentations by the crew’s scientists, and hot tubs … yes, hot tubs! For this trip, we proudly partner with Ice Axe Expeditions who handles all the logistics of the trip, while we keep the Graybird vibes going on the snow and beyond.
